2025

• 3% discount applies to current real property and tangible personal property taxes if postmarked on or before December 31st
• Third (3rd) installment payment is due by December 31st
• Heavy Vehicles (8000 lbs. and over) Expire on December 31st
• Mobile Home Decal registration Expire on December 31st

Tax Collector Offices will be closed Wednesday, December 24th, Thursday, December 25th and Friday, December 26th in observance of Christmas Holidays

January
2026
  • 2% discount applies to current real property and tangible personal property tax payments postmarked on or before January 31st
  • Business owners need to file their Tangible Personal Property Return (form DR-405) with the Property Appraisers Office
  • Exemptions applications for Real Property should be filed with the Property Appraisers Office

Tax Collector Offices will be closed Thursday, January 1st and Friday, January 2nd in observance of New Years Day.
Tax Collector Offices will be closed Monday, January 19th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

February
2026

1% discount applies to current real property and tangible personal property tax payments postmarked before end of February.

Tax Collector Office will be closed Monday, February 16th for In-Service Training

March
2026
    • Real Property and Tangible Personal Property taxes are due by March 31st
    • Fourth (4th) installment plan payment is due by March 31st
April
2026
  • Real Property and Tangible Personal Property Taxes are now delinquent
  • Reminder notices are mailed to taxpayers who’s taxes are still outstanding
  • 3% penalty and advertising fee applies to unpaid real property taxes
  • Unpaid tangible personal property accounts begin accruing interest at a rate of 1 ½ % per month
  • Any tax payer wishing to participate in the installment plan must turn their application in by April 30th (if you are currently on the installment plan there is no need to re-apply)

Tax Collector Office will be closed Friday, April 3rd in observance of Good Friday

  • Properties with past due taxes are advertised in the news paper
  • The tax certificate sale website is open for research and bids

Tax Collector Offices will be closed Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day

June

• 1st payment of the installment plan is due by June 30th
• Tax warrants are issued on unpaid Tangible Personal Property accounts
• The annual tax certificate sale is held June 1st
